The GoMining Referral Program lets you earn rewards by inviting new users to the platform. You receive rewards for referral activity, such as miner purchases, upgrades, or the use of supported features. Rewards are credited to your internal wallet in **GOMINING** by default, with **USDT** and **USDC** also available. They can be used within the platform or withdrawn to an external wallet. {% hint style="info" %} USDT is not available in Europe. {% endhint %} ### Who can participate in the referral program? Any registered GoMining user can participate — share your unique referral link or code to invite others. {% hint style="warning" %} Note that users blocked from the program for breaking the rules can no longer take part. {% endhint %} ### How can I invite friends to GoMining? To invite friends to GoMining, share your referral link or referral code from the [Referral Program](https://app.gomining.com/nft-referral/sharing) page. The main way to link a referral is to have your friend enter your referral code in their profile, under [Account details](https://app.gomining.com/profile/account-details):
Use a referral link only when you are reaching a wide audience and cannot share your code directly. A link does not always register the connection, so your friend may not be counted as your referral. Also, you can make your invitation stand out by customizing it before you share it. In the referral section, choose a banner, background, or sharing format to personalize your message. {% hint style="warning" %} A user will not count as your referral if they: * Created their account before you * Registered via advertising or promo campaign * Created their account more than 30 days ago * Already made GoMining purchases * Were previously linked to another referrer {% endhint %} ### How do I make sure my friend becomes my referral? For your friend to be linked to you, they need to use your referral code or link before they make any purchase. There are several ways to create the connection: * **Referral code in the profile:** your friend enters your code on their profile page after registering. * **Referral link:** your friend opens GoMining through your referral link and registers. * **Referral code as a promo code:** your friend enters your code as a promo code during their first purchase. * **Gift link:** if your friend activates a gift link from a GoMining ambassador or partner, and the activation states that they will become a referral, the connection is created too. The connection is only made if your friend: * registered no more than 30 days ago, * has not purchased a miner yet, * has no advertising attribution, * is not already linked to another referrer. {% hint style="info" %} Share your **code**, not just your link. The most reliable way is to have your friend enter your code on their profile page. Cashback on the first purchase is credited only after the connection is confirmed in the profile. {% endhint %} To confirm the link worked, open your My Friends section, where your new referral appears by user ID. Your friend will also see your referral code in their profile. Make sure the connection is in place before your friend makes any purchase. ### What rewards do my friends and I receive? #### For your friends (referrals) * +5% mining power on their first miner purchase if they use your code within 30 days of registering (up to a maximum of 25 TH) * Cashback reward if they reach a specific card spending volume within the first 90 days (see [Cards](https://help.cards.gomining.com/) section) * 1 month of VIP Platinum+ subscription for free. The bonus is valid for activation only within 30 days of your referral's registration. #### For you (referrer) * A mining royalty on what your referrals spend on miner purchases and upgrades. The rate is progressive and depends on your VIP level: the higher your level, the higher the rate. You can check the current rate on your [Referral Program](https://app.gomining.com/nft-referral) page. * Secondary marketplace purchases do not earn a royalty. They count toward your referral activity only. * 2.5% of tokens your referrals spend on Miner Wars boosts (calculated weekly) * Extra rewards once your referral reaches a specific card spending volume within 90 days. * 10% of your referrals' rewards in Simple Earn, credited once per day. {% hint style="warning" %} Reward conditions are subject to change. Always check the [Referral Program page](https://app.gomining.com/nft-referral) for the latest supported products. {% hint style="warning" %} Only purchases made directly within the GoMining platform count toward referral rewards. Purchases outside the platform (OTC), through managers, or via other channels may not qualify. {% endhint %} ### What is Referral activity? Referral activity is a way to increase your VIP level, in addition to mining power (TH) and veGOMINING votes. It reflects the total value of your referrals' actions over the last 180 days. Referral activity includes: * miner and upgrade purchases on the primary market, * spending with the GoMining Card, * GoMining Travel purchases, * Simple Earn rewards, * miner and avatar purchases on the secondary marketplace. These count toward activity only, without royalties or electricity rewards. Referral activity updates once a day. ### Can I see what makes up my referral activity? No. You can see only your total referral activity and its zones. A detailed breakdown by individual referrals or their specific spending is not shown to protect their privacy. ### What happens if a referral makes a refund? If a referral receives a refund for a purchase, the activity and any royalties from that purchase are deducted from your totals. ### What happens if a referral unlinks or deletes their account? Everything you have already earned from that referral stays with you. Their new activity, however, is no longer counted after they unlink or delete their account. ### Can I change my referral code? Yes. You can change your referral code through your VIP manager, which becomes available once you reach **Platinum I** VIP status or through the **Platinum+** subscription. Keep in mind that a custom referral code: * is at least 6 characters long, * is personalized and unique to you, * is case-sensitive. {% hint style="warning" %} Your previous referral code and link stop working immediately after the change. Share your new code with anyone you plan to invite. {% endhint %} ### What is the GoMining Ambassador Program? The [Ambassador Program](https://app.gomining.com/nft-referral/for-ambassadors) is for users who are highly active in: * a personal VIP manager, * the option to customize your referral code, * access to activities available to ambassadors. ### How are electricity rewards calculated for referrals? All referrers earn extra rewards when their referrals pay for electricity. The reward is calculated from the mining power they bought directly from GoMining, which does not include secondary market purchases. Reward Calculation Schedule: * For referrals in **Mining mode,** rewards are calculated daily. * For referrals in **Miner Wars mode,** rewards are calculated weekly after each game cycle ends. Daily electricity rewards are calculated with this formula: $$ \text{Miner Power (TH)} \times \text{Energy Efficiency (W/TH)} \times \frac{24}{1000} \times 0.005 $$ {% hint style="info" %} In Miner Wars mode, electricity rewards from a referral's miners are calculated based on the weighted average Energy Efficiency (W/TH). {% endhint %} Electricity rewards are paid out separately from standard referral rewards. Ambassador status is assigned automatically to every user who reaches VIP level Platinum I or above, including through the Platinum+ subscription. There is no approval or trial period. ### Can ambassador status be revoked? Yes. GoMining reserves the right to review, change, or revoke ambassador status if: * Program rules are violated. * Referral behavior does not align with the program’s goals and principles. * Your VIP level drops below Platinum I, since ambassador status requires Platinum I or above. ### What if my ambassador status is revoked? If your ambassador status is revoked: * You will still be part of the standard referral program. * You keep earning regular referral rewards for eligible purchases and actions. * However, you lose all extra ambassador benefits. ### What actions are allowed in the referral program? You can do the following as part of the referral program: * Share your referral link or code to invite new users. * Offer a 5% cashback bonus on a friend’s first miner purchase when they use your referral code. * Present yourself as an official GoMining ambassador only after receiving confirmation of your status. * Use official GoMining materials and news, but do not alter or misrepresent them. * Promote the GoMining platform features honestly and transparently. * Use only the approved promotional materials provided in your personal account. {% hint style="warning" %} When inviting users, make sure they understand: * They are registering as your referral. * This link or code is only for the referral program. It is not a regular GoMining promotion or site-wide promo code. {% endhint %} ### What actions are not allowed in the referral program? You must not do any of the following: * Create multiple accounts to get extra referral or bonus rewards. * Transfer or resell miners or tokens between your own or related accounts for profit. * Use misleading information, such as fake discounts, guaranteed income claims, or advertising “free” services. * Pretend to be a GoMining employee or present your own resources as official GoMining materials. * Promote your referral links using GoMining-branded search terms (like *GoMining* or *GoMining promo code*). * Target members of official GoMining communities to sign up with your referral link. * Use bots, automated signups, or any type of fraud. {% hint style="warning" %} GoMining may ask you to stop any referral method they consider dishonest, misleading, or against the platform’s goals. {% endhint %} ### What counts as abuse in the referral or ambassador program? Abuse means using the referral or ambassador program primarily for your own benefit rather than bringing in truly new, independent users. Examples of abuse: * Creating multiple accounts for yourself. * Using accounts of family members or people in your household just to get referral rewards. * Transferring assets between your own or related accounts to collect referral rewards. ### What happens if you seriously violate the rules? If GoMining confirms abuse or a serious rule violation, they may take the following actions: * Remove your ambassador status. * Block you from participating in the referral program. * Suspend payouts or apply other penalties as outlined in the platform's rules.
