What are GoMiners Avatars?
GoMiners are limited-edition digital avatars that unlock exclusive benefits in the GoMining ecosystem. Think of them as superheroes with special abilities: they improve your BTC earnings and open access to perks you wouldn’t get otherwise.
There will be 10 series in total, each featuring around 100 unique avatars.
What benefits do I get from owning an avatar?
Every avatar gives its owner several benefits:
Access to GoClub with private meetups, member-only content, and more (Coming soon)
A 5% discount on miner creation and power upgrades
Early access to presales for new miner collections
A Welcome pack with official GoMining merch (for your first claimed avatar)
In addition to these core benefits, each avatar series has its own unique ability.
What are the unique abilities of each series?
Each series has a distinct ability that activates when the avatar is set as your profile picture. Only one ability can be active at a time.
Humans — Automated Service
Release date: January 23, 2024
Automatically applies the 3% maintenance discount — no need to manually click the Service button.
How it works: The GoMiner ensures your mining farm always operates at peak efficiency, with no manual action required.
Affects: Mining farm maintenance cost (3% discount applied automatically).
Sentinels — 20% Discount on Spells
Release date: April 10, 2024
Every spell and boost in Miner Wars will be 20% cheaper.
How it works: The discount applies automatically while the Sentinel avatar is active (set as your profile picture).
Affects: All spells and boosts in Miner Wars.
Limitations: Has no effect outside of Miner Wars gameplay.
Cryptiles — Enhanced Efficiency
Release date: September 19, 2024
Reduces your miners’ energy consumption by 1 W/TH, helping you save on electricity.
How it works: The reduction is applied to the effective energy rate of your entire mining farm while the Cryptile avatar is active.
Affects: Farm-wide energy efficiency (W/TH).
Limitations: The value must be at least 20 W/TH. If your farm is already at or below this level, the ability has no additional effect.
Luminars — +1 VIP Level
Release date: October 16, 2025
Increases your VIP program level by 1, unlocking better privileges faster.
How it works: While the Luminar avatar is active, your account is upgraded to the next VIP tier with all its bonuses and multipliers, without needing to meet the standard requirements.
Affects: VIP tier and associated benefits.
Limitations: The bonus level is active only while the Luminar avatar is set as your profile picture. Removing it reverts your account to your actual VIP level.
Magmars — Blazing Multiplier (×1.4)
Release date: May 18, 2026
Applies a ×1.4 multiplier to the base Simple Earn yield while the Magmar avatar is active. This is equivalent to the Legend 3 tier (VIP level 18).
How it works: The multiplier is applied to your base Simple Earn yield automatically when the Magmar avatar is set as your profile picture. After removal, the multiplier immediately returns to your current base VIP level.
Affects: Simple Earn yield only.
Limitations: Simple Earn may not be available in certain jurisdictions, e.g., the United States. Users in those regions cannot access Simple Earn, so this ability has no effect for them.
No stacking: If your VIP multiplier exceeds ×1.4, it is used instead. The higher of the two values always wins.
How can I get an avatar?
You have two options:
Claim for free with a key
Keys can be found inside GoBoxes — mystery boxes earned via VIP program, raffles, and other promotions. When you win a key, it appears automatically in your profile.
To use the key:
Go to the Marketplace → GoMiners
Pick an avatar
Claim it.
You can store it in your GoMining wallet or any Ethereum wallet linked to your account. Once claimed, the avatar is permanently yours — you can keep it or sell it later.
Buy on the Marketplace
You can also purchase avatars directly from other users on the Marketplace. All benefits will still be available to you as the new owner.
The Welcome pack is only awarded once — if the previous owner claimed it, you won’t be able to claim it again
How long is an access key valid?
Access keys are valid for 365 days from the moment you receive them. If you don’t use the key within that period, it expires and is permanently destroyed; the avatar cannot be claimed with it afterward.
How do I use my avatar?
As soon as you claim an avatar, most of its core perks activate automatically, but two things require extra action:
Unique ability. To enable it, set your avatar as your profile picture. Other users will see it in leaderboards, GoClub (coming soon), and other parts of the ecosystem
Welcome Pack. It isn’t shipped automatically. You’ll see a button on the avatar’s page to order it manually
Can I own multiple avatars?
Yes, but their benefits don’t stack. For example, you won’t get double discounts, and you can't use two unique abilities at the same time. Instead, you can switch which ability is active by changing your profile picture.
This way, you can collect avatars from different series and switch abilities depending on your current needs. For example, activate a Human to reduce maintenance costs, then switch to a Sentinel when playing Miner Wars.
Can I sell my avatar?
Yes. Tap Sell on the avatar card to list it on the Marketplace. While it’s listed, you still keep all the benefits until someone else buys it.
